Warning! Scream (1996) spoilers ahead!
Matthew Lillard is returning to his iconic Scream role as he’s officially signed on to the seventh film in the series.
And if you’re a fan of Scream you might say: “Wait, didn’t he die in the original film?”
...or so we thought!
His character Stuart “Stu” Macher one of the two Ghostface killers alongside his pal, Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich).
Both characters are killed off at the end of the film, or at least seemingly so, with Stu taking a television set to the face.
So let the speculation begin!
After the news was announced, the 55 year old actor shared a video on Instagram of his hand writing out one of Stu's most memorable lines in Scream: "My mom and dad are gonna be soo mad at me!!"
