Anne Hathaway reportedly wants to make another 'Princess Diaries' movie. Director Garry Marshall has revealed Anne - who is currently pregnant with her first child - is hoping to film 'The Princess Diaries 3' after she gives birth.
Speaking to PEOPLE, Marshall said: "I was with Anne Hathaway a couple weeks ago, it looks like we want to do Princess Diaries 3 in Manhattan. Anne Hathaway is very pregnant, so we have to wait until she has the baby and then I think we're going to do it."
Anne first starred opposite Julie Andrews as teenager Mia Thermopolis - who discovers she is the Princess of Genovia - back in 2001. She returned as Mia for the 2004 sequel, 'The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement' co-starring Chris Pine as Lord Nicholas Devereaux.
It's hoped Chris will return for the third instalment of the franchise.
Garry added: "Yes, well Chris Pine likes me, you know why? Because his father is in [the upcoming movie] 'Mother's Day'.
"His father I know, I've seen him in plays. Chris Pine and my kids went to similar schools, so I knew him as a kid. [Pine's father] is quite good, he plays a strange, funny Texan. He and Margo Martingale are husband and wife."
