Lindsay Lohan has confirmed that a Freaky Friday sequel is officially in the works.
Herself and her costar Jamie Lee Curtis have been reuniting behind the scenes and leaving hints, but now it looks like we have official confirmation that a follow-up to their iconic 2003 movie is happening.
“I don't want to say too much," Lindsay told Andy Cohen in an interview for the radio station Sirius XM, "We're both excited. I'm gonna speak for Jamie."

That’s all the 37-year-old actor wasn't able to reveal though because when Andy Cohen pressed her for information on a timeline: "I won't say that yet."
The 2003 film Freaky Friday starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan is actually a remake of a 1976 film starring Jodie Foster.
It’s a body swap comedy where an argumentative teen daughter and mother wake up on morning to find themselves in the other’s body.
We might be due a rewatch to help build the excitement for a follow-up!
