Don’t ruin the magic Jude!
Jude Law has ‘ruined’ one of the festive classics by revealing an unknown production secret.
It’s been 18 years since he had audiences swooning as he played Graham in The Holiday, and in a recent interview on BBC Radio 2, he revealed a behind the scenes tidbit that we didn’t want to know.

“That cottage doesn’t exist,” Jude Law said, when presenter Zoe Ball asked was it possible to rent out Kate Winslet’s iconic cottage in the film.
Speaking about the film's director, Nancy Meyers, he said she was “a bit of a perfectionist” and couldn’t find the right location.
“She toured that whole area and didn’t quite find the chocolate box cottage she’s looking for,” he recalled. “So she just [rented] a field and drew it and had someone build it.”
And to make things worse? The interior shots weren’t even filmed in England!
“We were shooting in the winter here. Every time I’d go in that door, we’d cut, and we shot the interiors in LA about three months later.”
Much to the dismay of everyone else in the studio who said: “We don’t want to hear anymore! You’re ruining it!”
