Jonathan Rhys Meyers is reportedly in talks for a central role in the upcoming film 'The Rising'.
The film will be focused on the 1916 Easter Rising, and is due for release on St. Patrick's Day.
Meyers met the film's prouder Kevin McCann in London
This won't be Meyers' first Irish historical film. He previously played Michael Collins' assassin in the 1996 film Michael Collins, which starred Liam Neeson in the title role.
Harry Potter's Petunia Dursley is also in talks for a role. Fiona Shaw is set to play Countess Markievicz in the film.
The best news of all is the fact that Liam Neeson's eldest son Michael is going to be playing Michael Collins.
Like father, like son I guess!
