Yes you read that right. A Bob The Builder movie is happening and Jennifer Lopez of all people is set to produce it.
Following the summer blockbuster that was Barbie, Mattel are looking for another one of their products to capitalise on, and that looks to be the man who can do it all - Bob The Builder.

The official synopsis for the film says:
“When Roberto “Bob” travels to the enchanting island of Puerto Rico for a major construction job, he takes on issues affecting the island and digs deeper into what it means to build. Bob’s journey will celebrate the vibrant and colorful textures of the Caribbean Latin nations and their people.”
In The Heights actor Anthony Ramos has been cast in the starring role and Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico from animation shingle ShadowMachine (with Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and BoJack Horseman in their credits) will produce alongside Jennifer Lopez.
