It's official!
Disney have confirmed that a 3rd Hocus Pocus film is in the works.
Hocus Pocus 2, a sequel to the original 1993 film that was released on Disney Plus last year, was a clearly huge success - it's spurred them on to keep going!
While Walt Disney President Sean Bailey confirmed the news that a third film is in development, that's about all we know about the movie so far.
Obviously the hope is that Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy and Bette Midler will reprise their iconic roles as the Sanderson Sisters, but no cast members have been confirmed at this stage.
However some insiders hinted at the potential return of some cast members of the original 1993 movie that didn't appear in last year's sequel.
Talking to Variety, the film's screenwriter Jen D'Angelo spoke about how scheduling conflicts got in the way of the actors who played Max and Allison returning for Hocus Pocus 2. And that hopefully that wouldn't be an issue this time round.
"Hocus Pocus 2 arrived almost 30 years after we first met the Sanderson sisters, so we're hoping the latest adaptation won't take nearly as long."
