Ghostbusters 3 is officially on!
Director Paul Feig, who directed Bridesmaids and The Heat, tweeted this:
It's official. I'm making a new Ghostbusters & writing it with @katiedippold & yes, it will star hilarious women. That's who I'm gonna call.

The original director of the first two movies, Ivan Reitman, had said that with the passing of Harold Ramis, who starred and co-wrote both movies, and with Bill Murray's lack of interest he didn't want to direct the third installment.
