Filming for the next chapter of the Star Wars franchise has started at Pinewood Studios outside London.
'Star Wars: Episode Eight' will see the return of cast members Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley and John Boyega. Irish actor Domhnall Gleeson is also back for the new movie.
Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern are among the actors joining the cast.
A statement from Lucasfilm reads "Rey took her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and will continue her epic journey with Finn, Poe, and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the continuing Star Wars saga, Star Wars: Episode VIII, which began principal photography at Pinewood Studios in London on February 15, 2016."
The movie is due out in December next year.
