It’s official, there’s another Shrek movie on the way!
A ‘DONKEY’ movie is in the works.

In a recent interview with Collider, Eddie Murphy confirmed that the next installment in the Shrek franchise will focus on everyone’s favourite talking Donkey.
“We started doing Shrek four or five months ago," the comedian told Collider, “I recorded the first act, and we'll be doing it this year, we'll finish it up."
"Another Shrek is coming out, and Donkey's gonna have his own movie," Murphy said, adding later that he thinks the movie will be released sometime in 2025.
It’s been 14 years since we’ve last had a Shrek movie, as Shrek Forever After was released in 2010. However there have been two popular spin offs focusing on Puss In Boots and starring Antonio Banderas.
It’s unclear whether the next movie will be called Shrek 5 or its own standalone title similar to Puss In Boots but one thing's for sure, we can’t wait to see that talking donkey back in action!
