She’d be perfect for the role!
Dublin actress Alisha Weir is rumoured to have a role in second part of the Wicked movie, which is set for release a year from now.
Speculation has started on the Matilda star secretly playing the Dorothy as she has been spotted at events promoting Wicked: Part One, which was released last Friday.

Fans of the Wicked stage show know that as an origin story about the two witches in The Wizard Of Oz, the stage show does not feature Dorothy, and she’s only represented by a silhouette towards the end of the performance.
However fans believe that while Dorothy may not be appear in the stage show, this might not be the case for the movie adaptation, and have begun to speculate who a potential Dorothy may be.
Director Jon Chu was recently questioned on whether Dorothy was going to make an appearance in the movie, but he was keeping his cards close to his chest.
“I won’t say whether she’s a character, necessarily, in movie two,” he said.
“There’s a part of me that wants everyone’s Dorothy to be the whatever Dorothy they want. And yet, there is interaction and some," he added.
We’ll just have to wait until next year to know for sure!
