Disney has screened Star Wars: The Force Awakens for a terminally ill fan - two months before its release date. Director JJ Abrams also called Daniel Fleetwood - who was diagnosed with cancer and may not have long to live.
Afterwards Daniel's wife Ashley wrote the following message on Facebook:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">YES! Thank you <a href="https://twitter.com/Disney">@Disney</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/HamillHimself">@HamillHimself</a>, <a href="https://twitter.com/starwars">@starwars</a> and everyone who helped this man get a smile on his face! <a href="https://t.co/mWrF1xqqbY">pic.twitter.com/mWrF1xqqbY</a></p>— Chris Alexakos (@Calexak0s) <a href="https://twitter.com/Calexak0s/status/662381590291554304">November 5, 2015</a></blockquote>
