Dawson Street Transforms Into New York City For New Film

Filming on Neil Jordan's new movie has begun. The Widow stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Maika Monroe and Isabelle Huppert.

The thriller tells the story of a young woman named Frances (Moretz) who moves to Manhattan and forms a friendship with a widow named Greta (Huppert). Greta's motives turn out to be dangerous. 

Yesterday, 98FM's Darren Cleary spotted a New York police officer on Dawson Street along with a number of American cars and cabs, which are part of a scene in the upcoming film. 

An official release date for The Widow has yet to be announced.

Earlier this month, Chloe uploaded a number of photos of her time in Ireland, including a snap of St Stephen's Green Park.
