The hit comedy Damo and Ivor is to be made into a film.
The TV series in which actor Andy Quirke parodies northside and southside stereotypes, first started out as a sketch on Republic of Telly.
(There's effin' and blindin' in this video so it's defo NSFW or if you've little ears nearby)
If you haven't seen it, the show's about twins who are separated at birth. Damo ends up being raised by his granny on the northside, while Ivor was sold to a wealthy Foxrock family.

Now Parallel Films, which produced the show, is to adapt the series for the big screen.
Andy Quirke himself is from a fairly well-known Dublin family. His dad is the tycoon who owns Dr Quirkey's Good Time Emporium on O'Connell Street, and Andy's brother, Wes, is married to Rosanna Davison.
