Another win for the Irish!
The 82nd Golden Globes took place in LA last night, and Colin Farrell took home the award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series for his role in The Penguin.
It’s the Dublin actor’s third time winning a Golden Globe, and he was up against fellow Irish man Andrew Scott in his category.
Colin had the audience laughing the whole way through his speech, as he charmingly attempted to recall every single person he needed to thank.
As he was accepting the award he joked that he had “no one to thank for this”.
“I did it all by myself!"
He also gave a special mention to his friend Andrew Scott, revealing that they worked together way back in the day in the first film Colin ever starred in.
Congrats on your win, Colin Farrell!

Meanwhile the big winners on the night were the Disney Plus series Shōgun and the film Emilia Pérez, both taking home 4 Golden Globes each.
Demi Moore won her first Golden Globe ever for her leading role in The Substance, and gave an emotional speech on "not being enough" in the industry.
