23 years (😱) after she first appeared on our screens, and 8 years since she last appeared on our screens, Bridget Jones is officially back.
According to MailOnline, the 4th installment of the franchise is set to begin filming this summer in London, with Renée Zellwegeer reprising her role as Bridget Jones.
The character of Bridget Jones was created by Helen Fielding, with the 2001 film, Bridget Jones' Diary, based on her novel of the same name.
Now it's said that the plot of the 4th film will be based on her 2013 novel Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, where Bridget tackles raising children while navigating the rise of social media apps.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, it is being reported that the two main men, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant have signed on to their reprise their roles as Mark Darcy and Daniel Cleaver.
We hope the rumours are true because we desperately need a recreation of this scene!
