We didn’t need this!
We might have to wait a little longer to see the fourth Bridget Jones film Mad About The Boy, as one of its major stars has suffered a broken bone.
The highly anticipated follow-up to Bridget Jones’ Baby is currently being filmed in London but now the process is facing major delays after one of the main cast was taken to hospital.
It’s understood the accident happened while they were filming and the production has now been thrown into chaos as they attempt to rejig their schedule.

It’s not known which cast member suffered the unfortunate injury. The 4th installment of the much-loved Bridget Jones movies stars Renee Zellweger in the lead role, Hugh Grant returning as Daniel Cleaver and One Day star Leo Woodall as a new romantic interest.
An insider told The Sun: “It’s a total disaster. This has all been so devastating for the entire cast and all the hardworking staff who were down to work.
“They’d been due to shoot some of the film’s most important scenes and then they suffered this setback after a really unfortunate accident. Filming for the scenes might not start again until at least July, so the schedule has taken a hit. They’ve got a tight window, especially with having to work around the busy diaries of A-listers.”
The film has originally been pencilled for release on Valentine's Day 2025 but that may have to be pushed back now if they’re losing a whole month of filming.
Imagine the stress!
