Melissa McCarthy says she'd love to make a Bridesmaids sequel. The actress and her co-star Kristen Wiig recently joined forces again with the film's director Paul Feig for the Ghostbusters reboot and in an interview this week she hinted that another Bridesmaids movie could happen in the future, but not anytime soon.
Speaking to Heat she said:
"That's another amazing group of women who I'd love to work with again. I don't think it will be on a sequel to Bridesmaids, though.
Bridesmaids, which was released in 2011, is the highest grossing R-rated female comedy of all-time.
Ghostbusters, starring McCarthy, Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Chris Hemsworth is out in cinemas now.
Melissa will reprise her role in the Gilmore Girls reboot, due to be released later this year. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will premiere on Netflix. An exact launch date has yet to be confirmed.
The series will be four movie-length episodes, one for each season of the year.
