A sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is in the works.
That’s according to film news site Deadline whose sources confirm that the sequel is in early development at Disney.

The scriptwriter behind the original film is currently in the process of writing a present day follow up, with the original executive producer also on board.
With no official confirmation from the people involved, it’s unclear which members of the cast are going to return for the sequel.
Ever since the films stars Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Meryl Streep reunited for a skit at the SAG Awards earlier this year, rumours have been rife that all 3 might sign on to the follow up movie.
However Anne Hathaway was asked about a potential Devil Wears Prada sequel in a recent interview and her response was:
“I don’t think a continuation of that story is probably ever gonna happen.”
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens!
