98FM's Big Breakfast: Hocus Pocus 2 Star Doug Jones Says Returning To Set Nearly 30 Years Later Was "Surreal"

Spooky season is among us and so is the return of one of the most iconic Halloween movies!

Doug plays 'Billy Butcherson' in the much-anticipated sequel which is released on Disney Plus today.

Doug chatted to Rebecca and Brendan about the release of the movie's sequel and what it was like to return to the film set after 30 years! (hard to believe it's been that long)..

Speaking on how it felt to reunite with Sarah Jessica Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Ann Najimy, Doug said: "It was an absolute joy, and something I never thought was possible. But rumours of a sequel have been happening for nine years now".

Doug continued "at a 20 year anniversary screening we had with some of our fans, one of our producers said to me 'hey there's talk of a sequel happening'".

Doug AKA Billy Butcherson said 9 years had passed and nothing was mentioned, so he thought it was "never going to happen".

Doug said after all the rumours, he finally "got a call from a producer at Disney".

And well, that brings us to the release of Hocus Pocus 2!
