Eoin Morgan will captain England against Ireland when the sides meet at Malahaide next week for the one-day international. The DublinerÂ’s been included in the England squad alongside another former Ireland star, Boyd Rankin. England have rested a host of senior players for the match as well as the one-day series with Australia, including captain Alastair Cook. Stuart Broad, Ian Bell, James Anderson and Graeme Swann will also miss the match against Ireland and the five-match series that follows.
Rankin is one of five uncapped players in the England squad along with pace bowlers Chris Jordan and Jamie Overton, veteran batsman Michael Carberry and Yorkshire batsman Gary Ballance.
