More CCTV is set to be rolled out in the north inner city where there's high levels of anti-social behavior and drug dealing.
Anti social behaviour has been an ongoing concern in the area, particularly since the Dublin riots last year.
Taoiseach Simon Harris is returning from New York today and will brief his Cabinet colleagues on a strategic plan for the north inner city.
This will include plans for more CCTV in certain areas.
The plan will also looks at the idea of subsidies. They are to be provided to allow primary school children attend activities out of school, by supporting more clubs in the area.
