Meghan Markle has finally commented on the aftermath of Queen Elizabeth's death.
Meghan said the passing of the Queen was a "complicated time" in an exclusive interview with Variety magazine.
Meghan described how Prince Harry was "ever the optimist" after his Granny's passing, as he apparently told Meghan, "Now she's reunited with her husband".
Describing her went through her head after the passing of the Queen, Meghan said:
"I've reflected on that first official engagement that I had with her, how special that felt,"
Meghan continued: "I'm really grateful that I was able to be with my husband to support him, especially during that time."
Meghan was asked how her family has been processing the loss, to which she replied, that it's given them "a lot of perspective".
She continued: "It makes you wonder what you want to focus your energy on. Right now, we feel energised and excited about all of the things we've been building toward".
The Duchess also described the Queen as the "most shining example" of female leadership and said she was "fortunate" to have shared a "nice warmth" with her.
