Ministers are meeting around now, to decide if all pubs can re-open on Monday.
They'll consider advice from the National Public Health Emergency Team, which is concerned at an increase in Covid-19 cases over the past week.
Phase 4 of reopening the country is due to get under way next week, with the Cabinet considering increasing numbers at indoor events, like weddings, and allowing 500 people to attend sporting events.
The travel green list is also due to be updated, with Malta and Cyprus expected to be removed from it.
Tanaiste Leo Varadkar says the government will be adopting a 'cautious' approach for the next two weeks, which will be a 'further blow' to some sectors that aren't being reopened.
BREAKING: Tanaiste says the decision made at Cabinet today will come as a “further blow” to sectors which have so far been unable to reopen. (This doesn’t sound positive for pubs) pic.twitter.com/sRdixLwdtt
