McDonald's says it's carrying out operational tests this week as it puts plans in place to reopen in the UK and Ireland.
The fast food giant says it will consider social distancing measures, Personal Protective Equipment and opening in a limited capacity.
But the company says for now outlets remain shut after closing last month because of the coronavirus.
Paul Pomroy is McDonald’s CEO in the UK and Ireland;
"This week we are carrying out some operational tests to explore what our reopening might look like; the UK restaurant where these tests will take place will remain closed to the public."
He went on to say; "These tests will include exploring social distancing measures for our crew, PPE options and opening in a limited capacity."
McDonald's says outlets will only reopen when the company is absolutely confident it can have the right measures in place to ensure everyone’s well being.
