“I’m a lot tougher than I think!”
Maura Higgins has spoken out about her time in the I’m A Celeb jungle, reflecting on what the experience meant to her.
The popular reality show wrapped up last Sunday night, with McFly singer Danny Jones taking home the crown.
Maura Higgins was the fifth celebrity to be voted out of the camp, shocking viewers who thought she was going to “go all the way.”
Now that she’s back at home (and had a few nice warm showers we bet) the Longford star has had time to reflect on what the experience meant to her.

Referencing a recent TikTok trend, the influencer opened with “If you ask me about my time in the jungle i’ll say it was so much fun, but if you ask me on a deeper level I’ll say it was the best 3 weeks of my life, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.”
“I was so lucky to have met my incredible campmates who are all now my friends for life, and I couldn’t have done it without each and every one of them,” she continued.
“I’ve learnt that I’m a lot tougher than I think (although spiders still terrify me!) and I am so grateful for each and every person (all 750 of them!) that worked on this incredible show,” she added.
She may not be Queen of the jungle but she’s the queen of our hearts for sure!
