The man who was stabbed to death in Dublin this morning has been named as 39-year-old Gareth Kelly.
Mr Kelly was killed in the early hours of this morning in the Brownsbarn estate, near Citywest.
Officers are believed to be investigating if he was attacked over a parking space.
A woman in her 30s remains in Garda custody tonight, after being arrested earlier today.
Detectives are continuing to investigate all the circumstances surrounding the stabbing, and the scene will remain sealed off overnight.
It is understood there was no relationship between the victim and the suspect, and they may not have even known each other.
Gardai are also appealing for witnesses to contact them.
They're asking road-users who were in the Brownsbarn Estate and Kingswood areas between 6 and 7am this morning to check if they have camera footage of the incident.
