A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after being shot in the north inner city early this morning.
Gardaí were called to a flat in a house on North Strand Road at around 6:45am this morning, where firefighters were treating the victim.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital for treatment, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
Gardaí are asking anyone with information on the attack to contact them at Mountjoy Garda Station.
