Three men have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Clondalkin last night.
A man in his 20s was shot at a number of times at around 8:45pm at Shancastle Park.
He was taken to Connolly hospital with serious but non life threatening injuries.
A man in his late teens and two men in their 20 were arrested and are being held at Ronanstown and Lucan garda stations.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
Local TD Mark Ward says the latest shooting is an attack on the whole community:
"Nobody has the right to take the law into their hands like this. I only live a couple of hundred yards from where the incident took place itself and I know the people around the area are going to feel traumatised and frightened."
