A man has been killed in a crash just off Baggot Street.
The single vehicle collision happened on Lad Lane at 10.45 this morning.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Forensic Collision Investigators are currently at the scene, and the road is closed with local diversions in place.
Gardaí in Pearse Street are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to come forward and for any road users who may have dash cam footage who were in the area at the time to make it available to Gardaí.
