A man is due in court in connection with 20 incidents of fuel theft at petrol stations in Dublin and Kildare.
He was arrested at his home yesterday and taken to Ballymun Garda Station.
During the so-called 'drive-offs', a vehicle was refuelled and driven away without payment.
Fuel worth nearly €850 euro is alleged to have been stolen between February and April this year.
A man in his 20s has since been charged and is due before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
