Gardaí have arrested and charged a man following an assault at a house in Blanchardstown.
It happened at a property in the Whitestown Grove area of Dublin 15 last Sunday, June 7th.
It's reported that at approximately 1pm a man, aged in his 30s, entered the house and proceeded to seriously assault a woman in her 40s.
A man was arrested and held at Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice 1984.
He has since been charged and is due before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.
