A man in his 40s has been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted carjacking in Dublin.
He's also reported to have threatened members of the public and damaged cars.
This incident started when Gardaí on patrol got reports of a man damaging cars in the Phibsborough Road area at around 6.15pm on Tuesday evening.
He's alleged to have been jumping on vehicles before getting into another car and forcing the driver out.
It's also reported that the man scratched the side panels of at least one vehicle.
He was arrested in the North Circular Road area where it's alleged he was threatening members of the public with a glass bottle.
No one was injured and the man, who is in 40s, was arrested.
He's since been charged and will appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
