Gardaí are investigating an assault and false imprisonment incident that happened in Finglas.
It's reported a man in his 20s was attacked by a group of men before being bundled into the back of a car in the St Margaret’s Road area at around 2:40pm yesterday afternoon.
He was later let go at a different location.
Gardaí on patrol discovered the man and he was taken to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.
His injuries are described as serious but non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made at this stage however a vehicle has been seized for examination.
Gardaí say investigations are continuing.
