A 19 year-old man has been arrested and charged for breaching Covid-19 legislation.
He was detained in Ballymun this morning.
The arrest follows directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions to Gardaí to charge the man in relation to breaches of the emergency regulations.
The man is due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning in relation to four breaches of the Health Bill.
Gardaí say in relation to all the cases they engaged, educated, encouraged and as a last resource did have to enforce.
The man will appear in court at 10.30am.
