A van which Gardai were searching for has been located after two brothers were found dead in Cork.
Emergency services were called to a farm house outside Mitchelstown at around midnight last night.
Gardaí were alerted to the discovery at a house in Curragorm, three miles outside the town when they received a call from a woman who said her father had been killed.
Armed support units from Cork and Limerick rushed to the scene and set up a cordon around the farm which is located off the N73 between Mitchelstown and Kildorrery.
Officers found the bodies of one man in the yard of a farmhouse and a second in a barn.
Both men were aged in their late 60s
Earlier a search was launched for a red toyata corolla van in the area.
However it's been located in the grounds of Killaklug Church, however the driver of the vehicle was not at the scene.
The office of the state pathologist has been notified and a full techinical exam is due to get underway this morning.
