It’s hard to believe when she’s the global superstar that she is, but Madonna has never played Glastonbury before. Could 2024 be her year?
According to The Sun, the 65-year-old singer is in advanced talks to headline the festival’s iconic pyramid stage, following in the footsteps of Elton Johns memorable set last summer.

A source close to the festival organisers said: “Negotiations are well underway between Glasto organiser Emily Eavis and Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary.”
“Both teams are keen to make it happen and striking a deal shouldn’t be a problem. Emily was blown away watching Madonna perform in London and is desperate to get her on the Pyramid Stage next year.”
Despite having a pretty serious health scare over the summer, Madonna is back touring worldwide, recently bringing her sold out shows to the O2 Arena in London.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis was at one of those shows recently and took to Twitter to share her thoughts.
“She’s back! Incredible.”
So things are looking good for a Madonna headliner! With as many classic hits as she has, it’s sure to be an unforgettable set.
