Dublin's Luke Kelly statue has been spray painted by vandals for the second time.
The Guild Street tribute to the musician was found yesterday with black glasses and marks sprayed across its face.
It's the second time the marble head has been defaced since it was unveiled.
Last June it took workers hours to remove similar markings.
Culture Minister Josepha Madigan has described it as sacrilegious.
This a mindless act of vandalism. I repeat what I said last time this happened. It’s sacrilegious. #LukeKelly https://t.co/toFDffdBUk

Local councillor and former Lord Mayor Christy Burke says he's disgusted;
"You know we thought it was an isolated incident but it certainly looks like now its not. It seems to be a bit of fun and games by people who have nothing better to do."
