None of us saw this coming!

Love Is Blind UK has had reality TV lovers hooked over the last few weeks, and everything came to ahead on Monday night when the reunion episode was released.

The special episode was released at 9pm on Netflix on Monday night, as viewers found out that the show they'd been following for the last few weeks had been filmed a year ago, and a lot had changed between the couples involved since.

The biggest shock from the reunion episode was easily the revelation that one of the series' strongest couples, Steven and Sabrina, had split after less than a year of marriage.

Netflix dropped this devastating teaser before the episode aired, with many fans in denial that their faves had split.

However it became quickly apparent that Sabrina and Steven were no more, sitting separately during the reunion, and sharing a few frosty exchanges.

“There was so much I fell in love with about Steven,” Sabrina said, noting that she felt like Steven really supported her career goals when they met in the pods but that wasn’t necessarily the case after they said 'I do'.

She revealed that the distance between them also proved to be challenge, with Sabrina living in Belfast and Steven staying in London.

However the long-distant proved to be even trickier for them due to "awful" communication.

“There was no consistency in Steven’s behavior towards me and the relationship,” Sabrina told host Emma Willis.

Sabrina accused Steven of not supporting her in her business venture, but Steven rebutted that they had just lost their spark.

“You made no adjustments for me,” Sabrina fired back after revealing that she traveled to see him more often than he did for her.

It was then revealed that this was the first time the couple were seeing each other in 8 months, with things coming to a head when Steven cancelled on Sabrina’s family two days before Christmas.

Before we lose all faith in the Love Is Blind experiment however, we can be comforted by the fact that the other couples who said 'I do' in the wedding episodes are still going strong.

Jasmine and Bobby looked extremely loved up as they gushed about the past year being the best of their lives, as did happy couple Benaiah and Nicole.

Seeing as the show followed 6 couples in general we guess a 33% success rate ain't bad!
