A lost wallet has been returned to its owner after nearly 20 years.
Gardai in Tallaght say they were handed in the wallet just yesterday.
The item, which appeared to have been buried for a long time, had two cards inside with one a student card dated from June 2001.

This wallet was handed into Tallaght Gardaí YESTERDAY, it appeared to have been buried a long time.

Gardai checked PULSE for any information about the missing wallet, and were able to track down the owner.
Officers described it as a 20 year old mystery solved in 24 hours.
