A dog that took a train trip all by himself has been reunited with his owner.
The dog was taken in at Heuston Station on Wednesday, after arriving there from Kildare.
He'd boarded a commuter service from Sallins alone.
Staff at Heuston made sure he was looked after, while his picture was shared online in the hope of finding his owner.
However, when no one came forward to claim him, the dog (named Hamish by Irish Rail staff) was given to an animal charity.
My Lovely Horse Rescue then got involved in reuniting "Hamish" with his rightful owner, after a number of people came forward to claim him.
After spending a night with volunteers, "Hamish's" owner sent the charity a photo of the pair of them as proof.
It turned out "Hamish" was in fact named Tyson.
He's now being microchipped in case he decides to take another solo train trip.
Irish Rail has thanked everyone who helped spread the word.
