Lisa Marie Presley was Elvis Presley's only child and a singer in her own right. Herself and her mother Priscilla were dedicated to keeping the legacy of her father alive.
She was hospitalised yesterday evening for a 'medical emergency'.
She died in Los Angeles, her mother confirmed, hours after being admitted to hospital.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us," Priscilla Presley said in a statement. "She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known."
Lisa-Marie was just 9-years-old when her father died. Her birth, nine months exactly after her parents' wedding, was international news.
With the release of 'Elvis' last year, the major biopic based on Elvis's life and legacy Marie and Priscilla Presley had been attending red carpets and award shows alongside stars from the film.

She had been doing interviews on the red carpet of the Golden Globes on Tuesday and just days before that she was at Elvis's estate in Graceland honouring his birthday.
Lisa-Marie had four children, and was devastated by the loss of her son Benjamin to suicide in 2020.

"I've dealt with death, grief and loss since the age of 9 years old. I've had more than anyone's fair share of it in my lifetime and somehow, I've made it this far," she wrote in an essay shared with People magazine.
