We're choosing to believe this is true!
Line of Duty star Martin Compston has revealed a juicy update on whether or not there'll be another season.
The actor, who play Detective Inspector Steve Arnott on the show, shared that he was added to an interesting Whatsapp groupchat by one of the writers, Jed Mercurio.
The cast and crew of the show were already part of a groupchat called 'Line Of Duty 6', and Martin explained on a recent podcast, that the name was changed.
"We have got a WhatsApp group that was 'Line of Duty 6' and a while ago Jed changed the name of it to 'Line of Duty 7'."
Now no more has been said on this, but we reckon this is a very promising insight into the future of Line Of Duty!
Speaking on the podcast, Martin wanted to be clear on what he thought of another series.
"We wouldn't do it just for the sake of it. It would have to add to the series, it would have to make the series better."
Right now the writers and actors strike could severely delay any new telly but we'll live in hope of getting some new Line Of Duty 🤩
