Conor McGregor mania is heating up around the country and one group of fans from Kerry have hit all the right notes with a spine-tingling new promo released online.
Kerry-based poet Noel McAuliffe has penned a heartfelt tribute to the Crumlin brawler ahead of this month's long-awaited bout with Floyd Mayweather.
Posting the work online, he said the excitement surrounding the "biggest fight in combat history" inspired him to rework the poem with the help of some local artists.
Well-known Kerry flautist Matt Deane set a haunting take on McGregor's entrance theme "The Foggy Dew" to the words - with Daragh Hogan producing and John Fitzgerald creating the video.
The fight has divided fight fans around the world with boxing experts laughing off the Dubliner's chances - while others insist his unorthodox movement and style could see an historic upset.
One thing is for sure, those of us who stay up late enough are in for a spectacle - and if anythingm McAuliffe's video only has us more pumped.
The fight is scheduled for the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday August 26th.
