Thousands of Irish consumers have been left confused and disappointed after a similar immersive Van Gogh experience by Fever announced the postponement of its ‘secret location’ event.
Irish company Theatre of Light and the founders of the RDS event have now received thousands of emails from ticket holders of the alternative ‘secret location’ event, expressing disappointment and confusion.
Theatre of Light are reiterating to customers that their Van Gogh Immersive Art Experiences coming to Dublin is a completely separate event and is still going ahead.
Irish brothers Daniel and John Gleeson founded Theatre of Light three years ago, after being blown away by immersive digital art experiences overseas.
They then decided they wanted to bring an incredible art experience like this to Ireland and Van Gogh Dublin – Am Immersive Journey was born.
Irish company Theatre of Light then commissioned international content studio Nohlab, one of the leading tech-creative groups in the world within this sphere, to produce this exceptionally sophisticated art technology and final show.
Fast forward to three years later and the world premiere of this specific Van Gogh immersive art experience is ready to launch in the RDS this May 16th.
Taking over the Shelbourne Hall from May 16th to August 4th, this is going to be a 20,000 square foot digital exhibition where Van Gogh’s most famous works will surround you in 360 degrees.
A multi-sensory experience, the artwork moves and evolves all around you, bringing you along an incredible journey. This specific interpretation of Van Gogh’s most famous works has never been seen before this Dublin premiere.
