Singapore Airlines will be launching a direct flight from Singapore to Newark Liberty International Airport.
The route will begin on October 11th and the flight time will take 19 hours covering about 16,700kms.
The aircraft is an Airbus A350-900 Ultra Long Range (ULR) and is capable of flying for over 20 hours.

It has capacity for 161 passengers, 94 premium economy and 67 business class.
Singapore Airlines are set to break records with this new route as it will be the longest in the world.
