If you're a regular Facebook user, you've probably seen something like this appear on your timeline recently...
People have been copying and pasting a status update about copyright and privacy policy, which claims that Facebook is going to take ownership of everything you've ever posted on the site.
Previous posts like this have claimed that Facebook will charge you to keep your wall private, while this one says you must copy and paste the update to let Facebook know you want it to keep its hands off your photos and other posts.
But is it true? According to Facebook, no.
It says "anyone who uses Facebook owns and controls the content and information they post, as stated in our terms".
So no need to copy and paste, and you can tell others the same.
