Tallafest takes place this Saturday, 22nd June. Director of Fun, Tara De Buitléar says the event will bring laughter and creative fun to the village streets this weekend.
She added that this year will also see some very special unique attractions coming to Tallaght village for the day too.
What's New To Tallafest
For the first time in 87 years, there will be a tram on Main Street Tallaght, courtesy of the National Transport Museum. This will give thousands in Tallaght a unique opportunity to see what travel was like in Tallaght before Dublin Bus and the Luas.
The Big Dig is also coming to Tallaght for the first time as part of Tallafest 2019. This will allow families experience what it is like to dig and discover our history.
The Tallafest u11s Soccer tournament and Active Seniors Hub are getting bigger and better this year too.
Under the watchful eye of Sinead Tighe, an Inclusion Hub will join the festival program of activities this June.
