Sometime during 2015 Snapchat changed our lives by introducing lenses.
You know, the little button that let you puke a rainbow, pop on a monocle or shoot laser beams out your eyes.
It was - literally - fun and games until Snapchat got a bit greedy and started to make users pay for certain lenses.
Reportedly, ten million snaps a day use filters. After a 99c charge was introduced for some lenses, they weren't used as much.
Good news if you're one of those who wanted to use a lens but weren't bothered paying for it - Snapchat is scrapping its Lens Store and all lenses will be free again.
The app will offer users a choice of 10 different lenses every day.
