The Simon House of Light Show returns this week for its eighth year.
The event will launch at 6pm this Thursday December 5th at Powerscourt Townhouse Centre on South William Street.
A very special celebrity guest will be in attendance.
The festival will run from 5pm – 10pm on Thursday 5th, Friday 6th and Saturday 7th December.
An animated Christmas story will be projected on to the façade of Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
The magical light show will be accompanied by a host of musical performances on the steps of the centre each night.
Music acts from previous years include: The Blizzards, Danny from The Coronas, The Strypes and many more.
Acts for 2019 will be announced on Dublin Simon Community’s social media (Facebook, Instagram & Twitter) in the lead up to the event launch.
The Simon House of Light aims to bring people together to highlight the issue of homelessness.
Donations will be welcomed on-site throughout the festival.
Dublin Simon Community’s Scrappy but Happy exhibition of client artwork and poetry will also continue to run inside Powerscourt Townhouse Centre throughout December, with artwork available for purchase.
Make sure you join us next weekend (5th-7th Dec) for our spectacular House of Light event.
The festive celebration will see the front of the @ShopPowerscourt illuminated in a magical music and light projection show. #SimonHoL #SupportSimonhttps://t.co/3DNWZpv7MA pic.twitter.com/PG1DDNLcnH
